LNC Summer Camps are a great way for kids to learn about nature while having fun! Camps at Louisville Nature Center offer fun games, guided hikes in the nature preserve, and exciting nature study for budding naturalists--ages 4-12! Our camps provide lots of hands-on learning about the local wildlife
and habitats found in Beargrass Creek State Nature Preserve, a 41-acre forest and outdoor classroom.

EXPLORING KENTUCKY WILDLIFE (For ages 6-12)
Monday through Friday - June 22 - 26, 9am-4pm
Monday through Friday - July 13 - 17, 9am-4pm
This full-day camp is designed for campers ages 6-12. Campers will explore Beargrass Creek State Nature Preserve to learn how local plants and wildlife are good for the environment. Participants will have an opportunity to see, hear, and feel what lurks in the forests through hiking, games, and arts and crafts.
Cost: LNC Member $165/ Non-member $180
'IT'S A SMALL WORLD' NATURE STUDY (For ages 4-5)
**SORRY-1st session is Full** Monday through Thursday - June 29 - July 2 - 9am -11:45am
Monday through Thursday - August 3 - 6, 9am - 11:45am
This four-day program for children ages 4-5 will provide an up-close, in-depth education on the tiny plants and insects that inhabit the forest. Through a series of games, crafts, and forest activities, campers will see what is often missed on a normal hike through the woods.
Cost: LNC Member $100/ Non-member $115

The Louisville Nature Center and the Louisville Zoo are offering a weeklong day camp with activities at both sites. This camp, for children ages 8-12, will start at the Louisville Nature Center in the morning and end at the Louisville Zoo in the afternoon. Join us for a conservation-themed camp that includes nature study, arts and crafts, controlled animal contact, and walks and hikes. Children will be grouped according to their age. Participants must bring their own lunch and dress for outside play.
Eco Camp Cost: $170 Zoo or LNC members / $185 Non-members
**SORRY---FULL** TRACK 'EM, SMACK 'EM, AND ROAR (For ages 7-12) **SORRY---FULL**
June 15-19 9:00-4:00
The Louisville Tennis Center, the Louisville Nature Center, and the Louisville Zoo will again be offering a week of non-stop excitement for children ages 7 - 12. Campers will be tracking native wildlife at the Louisville Nature Center, learning tennis skills on the courts of the Louisville Tennis Center, and visiting with the wild creatures at the Louisville Zoo.
If your child has a tennis racket we suggest that he/she bring it. Each participant must bring a lunch and dress appropriately for outside play (tennis shoes are required).
Track 'em Cost: $175 LNC or Zoo members / $190 Non-members
