Everyday is bird day, but May 9, 2026 is World Migratory Bird Day! It is officially celebrated the second Saturday in May for US and Canada and the second Saturday in October for Mexico, Central & South America, and the Caribbean.

On this guided hike, Luke and Jen will help participants to identify some of Louisville’s resident birds and seek out migratory species! Participants will learn ID tips such as field marks, behavior, habitat, vocalizations and more. This is for all skill levels of birding, ages 12 and up recommended. Don’t have any binoculars? That’s okay! We have binoculars available to use.
