As the fall season begins, many species of birds embark on their journey southward as a part of their migration cycle. This makes for the perfect opportunity to discover and learn about the many types of bird passing through here at the Louisville Nature Center.

As a part of this program, Luke will help participants to identify some of Louisville’s resident birds and seek out migratory species! Participants will learn ID tips such as field marks, behavior, habitat, vocalizations and more. This is for all skill levels of birding, ages 12 and up recommended. Don’t have any binoculars? That’s okay! We have binoculars available to use.
